Tickets booked! and paid, part 2

I reserved tickets both at Kilroy and STA Travel. It is not binding agreement if you just make a reservation.

What are the difference between the agencies? Here are one of my popular lists:

Kilroy

Stockholm (Arlanda) – Vancouver

1 MAY 2011

New York (JFK) – Stockholm (Arlanda)

10 DEC 2011 or 12 OCT 2011

7265 sek including

(Service fee, 350 sek) I am not sure

IYTC-card, 110 sek

Cancellation insurance (sv. avbeställningsskydd) with any reason, 300 sek

Bankruptcy insurance (sv. konkursförsäkring), 135 sek, if you just buy flight tickets you are not included in the package tour guarantee (paketresegarantin/lagen från Kammarkollegiet)

If you want to change the flight date home, 1000 sek including the 510 sek service fee.

If I added

IYTC-card, 110 sek

Cancellation insurance (sv. avbeställningsskydd) with any reason, 6 % of the 6199 sek, 372 sek

Bankruptcy insurance (sv. konkursförsäkring), is automatic included. I am not sure if it is included.

If you want to change the flight date home, 950 sek including the 350 sek service fee.

Totally price will be 6681 sek

Difference: 584 sek

I could not choose. I was deciding into the last minute.

Kilroy’s advice was showing the knowledge the agency had. And Kilroy handle Working Holiday in Australia and New Zealand. Some similar program as my trip. I got the reservation information before STA Travel.

I do not like the agencies’ programme where they order the tickets. Just one line for special food information! My list over my allergic food could not be send to the airline. I chose from my allergic to nuts or my lactose intolerant. Of course I chose the nuts. I can die because of it.

Now is the insurance after 45 days I need to decide. Gouda, Europeiska or a extra to my householders’ comprehensive insurance (sv. hemförsäkring). Ohhh. Does someone has an idea what to choose? The insurance costs more than my flight tickets…
